2.1 Devine Counselling provides professional counselling services, including:

d) Mental Health Care Plan (Medicare) services
e) Workers’ Compensation counselling
f) Children and young people Counselling
2.2 Counselling services are provided in a professional, ethical, and trauma-informed manner.
2.3 Counselling services are not emergency or crisis services.
3. Enquiries, Appointments & Payment
3.1 Appointments are arranged following initial contact face-face, via the website, email, or phone.
3.2 Session availability, suitability, and fees are discussed prior to confirming an appointment.
3.3 Payment arrangements are confirmed prior to or at the time of the appointment, using secure payment methods.
3.4 Appointments are considered confirmed once agreed arrangements have been made between the client and Devine Counselling.
4. Attendance & Session Times
4.1 Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
4.2 Late arrival may reduce the available session time.
4.3 Full session fees apply regardless of late arrival.
5. Confidentiality
5.1 Counselling sessions are confidential and managed in accordance with professional ethical standards and legal requirements.
5.2 Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm to the client or others.
6. Limitations of Service
6.1 Devine Counselling does not provide emergency or crisis care.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Session Length
1.1 Individual counselling sessions are 60 minutes.
1.2 Couples counselling sessions are 90 minutes.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
2.2 Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a fee.
2.3 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment, may result in the full session fee being charged.
2.4 Late arrival may reduce the available session time. Full session fees apply regardless of arrival time.
3. Refunds
3.1 Refunds are not provided for late cancellations or missed appointments.
3.2 Where a session fee has already been paid, refunds are generally not available once the appointment time has been reserved.
3.3 Sessions provided under Medicare Mental Health Care Plans or Workers’ Compensation arrangements are subject to the relevant eligibility, referral, and funding guidelines.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
4.1 In rare or exceptional circumstances, discretion may be applied at the practitioner’s professional discretion.
4.2 Any consideration of exceptional circumstances does not create an entitlement to a refund or fee waiver.
